'Helping grief to heal'
The loss of someone close is the most painful event that any of us will experience in our lives.
Many bereaved people feel intensely lonely and often rejected as former friends simply disappear and we are left completely alone just at the time when we most need friendship, support, a helping hand, someone simply to 'be there'.
The path of grief and bereavement is one which we all tread in our own way. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to grieve, there is simply you, the relationship that you still have with your loved one who has passed into spirit, the way you feel and a world that has changed beyond all recognition.
Whatever you're feeling is normal. It must be because you're feeling it. Don't bottle up your feelings. If it helps to write a letter to the person you have lost, putting down on paper all the things that you want to tell them, then just do it. If you find yourself talking to their photograph that's fine - you're not the only one who does this.
Birthdays, wedding anniversaries and angelversaries (the day that someone passed into spirit) are all difficult days. There are plenty of people who have given you advice about how to 'cope'. Lots of people have suggested drinking a toast to memory, visiting their grave or a place that was special to you both. The important thing is to do whatever feels right for you, not what someone else has told you to do.
A reading with a medium doesn't provide the 'answer' for those of us who grieve. All a medium does is open a door to the world of spirit and invites people to come through. Sometimes the person who steps through the door will be the person you most want to hear from, sometimes it will be someone else entirely. People coming through from the world of spirit always come for a reason, sometimes just to let you know that they're around, sometimes with a message and always with love.
Legally I am obliged to say that a mediumship reading is not intended to be a substitute for professional advice, be it legal, medical or lifestyle. Mediumship readings should be considered as being of entertainment value only.
If you would like to arrange a time for a reading or if you have anything you'd like to ask (and remember, there's no such thing as a silly question) send an email to:
